Wine Gummy Bears

The perfect solution for using up that cheap wine your guests grabbed from a clearance endcap at their neighborhood drugstore on the way to your house!

Cook/Prep Time: 5-10 minutes, then just wait for the gummies to set at room temperature!


1 cup wine

1/2 cup granulated sugar

3 tbsp gelatin

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp salt


1. Combine everything in a small pot and bring to a boil on the stove over medium heat. When mixture boils, remove pot from the heat.

2. Season to taste (add more salt, if you like).

3. Pour into molds and allow to set up at room temperature or in the fridge. Please note that chilling may dull the taste of the gummies, especially with red wine.

P.S. You can use pretty much anything as a mold for the gummy bears as long as they'll come back out, so get creative. Drunk people think gummy dinosaur bones are HILARIOUS.
